Emergency services saved the life of a two-year-old girl after she was critically injured in a head-on car crash by resuscitating her for 12 minutes.
The girl was travelling with a male driver and another young passenger when they hit a car driving the other way outside a school in West Horsley.
An officer from Surrey's road unit and one from the response unit battled to save the girl - giving her 12 minutes of resuscitation until paramedics arrived.
Excellent work by 1 of our officers and 1 from the response unit, 12 minutes of CPR on a 2 yr old kept her alive until paramedics arrived
She was then airlifted to St George's Hospital in Tooting with critical injuries following Wednesday's crash in West Horsley.
