Southwark Cathedral hosted a moving ceremony today to remember the victims of the Marchioness river boat disaster on the river Thames in 1989. 51 people died after the boat collided with a dredger Bowbelle in the early hours of the morning. Amongst them was Francesca Dallaglio, the 19 year-old sister of the England rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio, and the merchant banker Antonio de Vasconcellos who was celebrating his 26th birthday.
