Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a car crash and 13-year-old girl left fighting for her life.
The crash, which involved a minicab, happened on the A13 on the Alfreds Way flyover in Barking, east London.
Officers were called just before 2.30am and found a Vauxhall Vectra, which was heading westbound and a VW Passat, which was heading eastbound, had crashed.
The 27-year-old man was declared dead on the roadside and his next of kin have been told.
The passengers in the minicab - a male driver and three others - were taken to an east London hospital.
There have been no arrests.
