A shop which had an introductory offer of selling everything for 25p has had to close its doors after just a few days.
The shop, called easyFoodstore, is the idea of easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and opened in Park Royal, north west London on Monday.
In a notice on its website the company said it had had "queues of customers" going to the shop yesterday which caused them to run out of stock.
It also said they planned to reopen tomorrow after they had taken a delivery.
The promotion lasts until the end of the month when prices will go up to 50p.
The shop, which does not stock any big names, operates under the slogan of 'No expensive brands. Just food honestly priced'.
