He first walked past a 13-year-old girl and without talking to her, sexually assaulted her.

The man then kept on walking along Silver Street, near its junction with Tanners End Lane in Enfield.

Minutes later, he did the same thing to a 14-year-old girl.

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the two assaults.

He is described as white, about 5ft 8in, of medium build and with short black hair and stubble.

He was wearing a great T-shirt, dark body warmer and bright red trousers.

We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to identify this man who we want to speak to in connection with this investigation.

That has included a significant trawl and search of CCTV in the local area and we have now issued this still to ask the public for their help. If you recognise this man or have any information that could help us identify him then please get in contact with us.

At this stage we have no information to suggest there are any other incidents, but I'd ask anyone else that something similar has happened to to report it so it can be investigated.

– Det Insp Chris Rixon
