A man has died in a fire at a flat in north London after 21 firefighters battled to save him.
Some 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a block of flats on Hawley Road, Camden this morning.
Sadly, crews found a man in the flat who was declared dead at the scene. Over half of the second floor flat was damaged by the fire.
Four fire engines from Kentish Town, Euston and Tottenham fire stations attended the incident.
The Brigade was called at about 8.30am and the fire was under control just after 9.15pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
