20 firefighters help rescue a customer as a car crashes into a cafe

Two women were injured when a classic Porsche hit the front of a cafe in West Hampstead, north-west London.

It took 20 firefighters to rescue one of the women after the classic car crashed into Lena's Cafe on West End Lane on Friday afternoon.

The driver stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

Fire crews from West Hampstead, Battersea, Edmonton and Heston fire stations attended the scene.

We treated a woman at the scene for a leg injury and took her as a priority to a major trauma centre.

We treated a second patient at the scene for minor injuries and took them to a hospital in north west London.
