Man jailed for manslaughter after Stratford park stabbing

A man who stabbed another man in the neck during a fight has been found guilty of manslaughter. He was cleared of murder.

Mario Albino Te, 21, was convicted of the manslaughter of 20-year-old Bradley Dos Reis Pais Quaresma.

The jury found Te guilty of Bradley's unlawful killing, and rejected the claim that he was acting in self defence and that Bradley was the aggressor.

Police were called to Stratford Park at 3.15pm on 21 July 2016 following reports that a man had been stabbed.

London's Air Ambulance and police officers attended. The victim - Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene.
