A 15-year-old schoolboy was last night stabbed to death in the second teenage murder in London in less than 24 hours.
The latest victim of the capital's knife crime epidemic died on a pavement in Georgia Road, Thornton Heath, south London just before midnight. He was named by his family as Jermaine Goupall.
A 19-year-old man was earlier stabbed to death outside nightclub Afrikiko in Old Kent Road, Peckham.
The killings came as Home Secretary Amber Rudd and Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick told The Times they supported an increase in 'targeted' stop and search.
