Here are the London finalists for the Pride of Britain awards 2017, all inspirational people who have shown courage and kindness in the most difficult of circumstances.
London finalist - Jake Coates
When Jake Coates rekindled his relationship with his childhood sweetheart, they made plans for the rest of their lives. But after just six months back together, Emmy was diagnosed with a cancer that would kill her.
She died this summer but as a couple they spent her final months together on a tandem raising thousands for the hospital that treated her. For their astonishing efforts Jake is now one of the four London finalists for the Pride of Britain awards.
London finalist - Lisa Green
Lisa Green helps children living with brain injury after her own son died of a brain tumour. Danny Green was just 10-years-old when he was diagnosed. She started a charity in his name.
London finalist - Mark Pattenden
Mark Pattenden lost a leg 18 years ago and is an aspiring Paralympian. Determined to live an active life he has set himself some tough challenges and has raised £250,000 to help others in need.Katie Barnfield met him and the people he's helped.

90-year-old Stan Wall has dedicated the later years of his life to raising money for others ever since the death of his wife in 2006. And he has no intention of stopping now.
