Police investigating the murder of a 20-year-old man in an East London park have named him as Moosakhan Nasiri.
Detectives were called to Plashet Park in Forest Gate last Sunday.
Moosakhan Nasiri was found with a stab wound to the chest and pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem found he died from a stab wound to the heart.
A 16-year-old male has been charged with murder. Police remain at the scene, looking for more suspects. . DCI Jamie Piscopo, who leads the investigation, said:
"This was a violent attack on a young man which happened in the middle of the afternoon in a busy park, and I would ask anyone who saw the incident to come forward and speak to us."
