A man was stabbed and beaten with a glass tube after he tried to break up a fight in central London.
Detectives are hunting two suspects after the 23-year-old victim was left with a broken rib and a deep cut to his lung.
The man had tried to break up an argument between two men and a group of other people early on a Saturday morning in September.
After an exchange of words, he was chased by the pair into a newsagent in Gray's Inn Road. One man hit him with a glass tube, while another stabbed him in the torso.
Shocking footage shows the moment he is chased into the shop and assaulted.
The victim was taken to an east London hospital where he was treated for a broken rib and a laceration to his lung.
He has since been discharged and is still recovering from his injuries.
Scotland Yard has released images of two suspects in a bid to trace them.
