Occupy London are planning a day of protests today to mark six months since the Occupy movement went global. Over the weekend eleven people were arrested on another day of protest which saw anti-capitalists from the Occupy movement pitch tents outside the Bank of England.
Six people have been charged with public order offences after Saturday's Occupy demonstration in the City of London.
City of London Police said that of the12 people arrested, six were charged, 4 were bailed, and 2 received a police caution.
Those facing charges will appear in court on May 21st
Eleven people have been arrested after a day of protest in London saw anti-capitalists from the Occupy movement pitch tents outside the Bank of England.
The arrests were made for public order offences linked to the demonstrations, leading to around 10 tents being set up, City of London Police said.
The protest by around 300 demonstrators was part of a global day of action which also took place in cities including New York, Athens and Madrid.

Several hundred people have gathered outside St Paul's Cathedral for an Occupy London rally. It comes more than six months after members of the campaign group were prevented from occupying Paternoster Square.
Instead, activists camped outside St Paul's Cathedral just yards away from the Stock Exchange and remained there for four and a half months. City of London Police say it has a "proportionate" operation in place around today's peaceful demonstration. St Paul's Cathedral remains open to visitors.
