Tube passenger jailed for racist rant

A drunk passenger who hurled racist abuse at fellow tube travellers in a tirade that became an internet sensation has been jailed for 21 weeks.

42 year old Jacqueline Woodhouse launched an expletive-laden rant at passengers on the Central line.

One of the passengers filmed a seven minute video of the assault and uploaded it to Youtube.

In sentencing the judge told Woodhouse, "Anyone viewing the film would feel a deep sense of shame that our citizens could be subject to such behaviour."

Passenger sentenced to 21 weeks in jail for racist abuse

Jacqueline Woodhouse has been jailed for 21 weeks and been given a 5 year ASBO banning her from any London Underground or Docklands Light Railway whilst drunk.

The District Judge at Westminster Magistrates Court said she was hostile to anyone who was not white British on the train during a rant which was filmed by a passenger and watched by a million people on You Tube

Jacqueline Woodhouse, the drunk secretary who carried out a racist rant on a tube train is awaiting sentence. Westminster Magistrates Court watched a shocking 8 minute tirade of racist abuse and vile language directed at fellow passengers.

It was recorded on a phone and put on YouTube, leading to Woodhouse to hand herself into police. The court has adjourned and Woodhouse awaits her fate.
