Biggest Boat Ever Arrives at Docklands
The largest boat to come into London’s West India Dock has arrived in Docklands for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The cruise ship MS Deutschland is 175m long and only fits into the lock with inches to spare.
Teams from West India Dock’s owner, the Canal & River Trust, and the Thames’ Port of London Authority, worked together to bring the vessel in safely to her berth in South Quay, West India Dock.
