London Zoo is taking part in a worldwide annual stock take of every animal they have in captivity. Totting up everything from tadpoles to tigers is no mean feat. Martin Stew reports.

London Zoo is doing its annual stocktake of every bird, beast, bug and fish. The zoo is home to 600 different species and tens of thousands of creatures.
