The Met Police has said that a fire at a house in Finchley, where two people died, may have been started deliberately. The bodies of a man in his 60s and a woman in her 80s were found dead at the property in Fallow Court Avenue yesterday morning.
Detectives from the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating the blaze.

Two people have been found dead in a house in North Finchley following a fire. Emergency services were called at around 6am this morning to the home in Fallow Court Avenue.
They discovered the body of a woman in the kitchen, and a man in a first floor bedroom.
The fire affected three quarters of the ground floor and half of the first floor, as well as the staircase of the semi-detached home. London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police have begun an investigation into what caused the fire.
