David Bailey returns to East End

World famous photographer David Bailey has come back to his east London roots, as an exhibition of his images of the capital in 1960s on show in Walthamstow.

World famous photographer David Bailey has returned to his East End roots with an exhibition of images from the 1960s.East End Faces features ordinary people and scenes of east London, the area where Bailey grew up.

The exhibition opens at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow on Saturday.

Bailey, who became one of the first celebrity photographers and helped define the Swinging Sixties, is best known for pictures of the likes of the Beatles, Andy Warhol, Mick Jagger and Michael Caine.

The exhibition opens at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow on Saturday, and runs until Saturday, May 26.
