Detectives investigating the murder of a teenager in Forest Gate have formally identified the victim who was killed on Thursday.
He was Champion Ganda, 17 from Romford.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds with a fatal one to the chest.
New Scotland Yard have said that they are appealing for witnesses and information after a murder in Forest Gate.
Police were called at approximately 1400 hours on Thursday 9th May to the area of Sandringham Road. Two teenagers were found suffering stab wounds.

Police have named the victim of a fatal shooting in south-east London as 19-year-old Khadar Hussein of Beckenham.

Detectives have launched a murder investigation following a fatal shooting in Penge in south east London. The 19 year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in the head yesterday evening in Kenilworth Road. He was taken to hospital but was declared dead this morning.
Police have informed his next of kin. They are yet to make any arrests.
