Bill Pertwee's son Jonathan has paid tribute to him.
"He was very loved by everyone that knew him. I think he'd like to be remembered as someone who had a good go and loved the people he was around."He was never short of offering help to other people, he was always happy to help other people out."
"He was a really, really nice man. Very bright, very intelligent."He came from a big theatrical family, a big show business family, and like all of them it was his life and it was very important to him and he was a hugely professional, very clever man."

Pertwee's wife died several years ago and he is survived by his son, Jonathan, she said.
