How to take a good photo

Wildlife photographer Roger Hooper has an exhibition of his work at the Oxo Tower. He says we can all take a decent picture no matter how good our cameras are by following a few basic tips.

  • Be aware of the background of your subject

  • Hold the camera steady!

  • Get down to eye level

  • Be prepared for all weather!

  • Have patience and perseverance
