'Readathon' in Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square will be in literary mode today as a giant children's reading festival takes place.

The 'readathon' is being organised by the Evening Standard as part of it's 'Get London Reading' initiative.

Events will include Rupert Everett reading fairy tales by Oscar Wilde and a performance by the cast of 'Billy Elliott: the Musical'.
