Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Poplar

Poplar murder victim named

A man who was found fatally stabbed in the back in a street in Poplar has been named by the Met.

The victim was Liam Hamilton, aged 32, from the E14 area. Police are still waiting for formal identification but released the name after a post-mortem this afternoon.

So far three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and detectives are still appealing for information.

Man stabbed to death in Poplar

Two men have been arrrested on suspicion of murder, after a man was stabbed to death in Poplar last night.

Police were called out to Simpsons Road at around 22:10, to reports that a man had been stabbed in the back.

The man - who was in his early 30s - was taken to an east London hospital, where he later died.
