A man has been arrested after a woman died in a double shooting on Kilburn High Road

Arrest in Sabrina Moss murder case

Police investigating the murder of Sabrina Moss and theattempted murder of another woman have arrested a man in connection with theincident.

The 22-year-old man was arrested by officers from the British Transport Police at St Pancras International train station last night on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

He is currently in custody at a central London police station.

Sabrina Moss died from a gunshot wound to the chest after being shot on Kilburn High Road on Saturday.

"Our family has been devastated by this horrific incident that has changed our lives forever.Sabrina was a fun-loving girl who made friends wherever she went.She was a lovely daughter and a perfect mother to her young son, whom she adored.She cherished working as a nursery teacher and treasured working with the children, who undoubtedly will miss her dearly.We urge anyone with any information to contact the police to help catch those responsible.We now ask the media to respect our wishes and allow us the privacy we need to begin to rebuild our lives."

It has emerged the 24-year-old woman who was fatally shot in Kilburn on Saturday was a nursery teacher.

Sabrina Moss, who had a four-year-old son, was on a night out celebrating her birthday when she was killed.

Police have now arrested a second man in connection with her murder.

Another woman, who was also shot, is in a stable condition in hospital.

Sabrina Moss, of Neasden, north west London, died in hospital after being involved in a double shooting. Police said she was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time after going out to enjoy her 24th birthday with friends.

Another 24-year-old woman is in hospital. Her condition is described as critical but stable.

Police have arrested a man after a young woman was fatally shot in Kilburn while out celebrating her birthday.

24-year-old Sabrina Moss, from the Neasden area, died in hospital in the early hours of Saturday. Another 24-year-old woman also suffered gunshot injuries. She is recovering in hospital.

A murder inquiry has been launched by detectives from the Homicide & Major Crime Command.

Police have arrested one man after two young women were shot in the early hours of Saturday morning in Kilburn, north London.

Police and London Ambulance Service found two women suffering from gunshot injuiries and both were taken to hospital. 24-year-old Sabrina Moss, who had been celebrating her birthday, was pronounced dead later.

'Innocent' woman shot dead while celebrating birthday

A 24-year-old woman has died in hospital after a double shooting while out celebrating her birthday, police said.

Sabrina Moss, of Edgware, north London, who was gunned down early today, is believed to have been caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, a senior officer said.

Detective Chief Inspector John Sandlin of the Metropolitan Police said: "Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident.

"At this early stage, I believe the two women were innocent parties who were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Another 24-year-old woman is in hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Second Kilburn shooting victim "not seriously injured"

A 24-year-old woman who survived a double shooting in Kilburn has not been seriously injured, police say.

The other victim, also a 24 year old woman, died in hospital from her injuries.

"Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman in Kilburn.

Officers were called at 4.20am on Saturday, 24 August, to reports of shots fired in Kilburn High Road.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended the scene to find two women suffering from gunshot injuries. Both were taken to London hospitals.

A 24-year-old woman was pronounced dead later on Saturday morning."

The condition of the second victim, also a 24-year-old woman, is currently unknown.
