Updates on the roads, tubes and trains throughout the Notting Hill Carnival this Bank Holiday weekend.

London Overground guards start two-day strike as Carnival begins

London Overground guards have started a 48-hour strike over potential job cuts, on the weekend of the Notting Hill Carnival.

RMT Union members are staging pickets at three stations, following plans to introduce driver only trains.

London Overground Rail Operations Limited says more than 70 per cent of services are running as normal.

The strike will end just before midnight tomorrow.


(1/2) No service btn Highbury & Islington & Shadwell, no service btn Surrey Quays & Clapham Junction due to planned engineering work.


(2/2) No service Clapham Junction/ Richmond to Willesden Junction & Gospel Oak to Barking due to strike action.

LADBROKE GROVE - Closed on 25-26 August.

LATIMER ROAD - Closes at 23:30 on 25-26 August.

ROYAL OAK - Exit only 11:00-18:00 on 25-26 August. Closes at 18:00 on both days.

NOTTING HILL GATE - Exit only 11:00-19:00 on 25-26 August. Circle and District lines will not stop at this station between 11.00-19.00 on Sunday 25th and all day Monday 26th. No interchange between Monday 26th August.
