A spokesperson for Transport for London has said a fault that caused a tube to get stuck at Holland Park forcing passengers to panic, is believed to have been caused by the brakes being locked against the wheels of the train.
The spokesman added that the doors were not opened in case passengers climbed onto the live tracks as the train was not fully in the station.
