A man is due in court charged with the murder of 24-year-old nursery teacher Sabrina Moss, who was gunned down on Saturday as she celebrated her birthday in Kilburn.
Martell Warren, who's 22, is also charged with three counts of attempted murder.
Sabrina was shot in the chest near a fast food restaurant, and later died in hospital. Police say they believe she and her friend, who was also injured in the attack, were "in the wrong place at the wrong time" and were not Mr Martell's intended targets.
The family of the 24-year-old girl shot alongside nursery teacher Sabrina Moss on Saturday has said that Sabrina Gachete is a "loving and courageous" individual.
The Metropolitan Police issued a statement on behalf of the family of Ms Gachete:
Martell Ricco Warren, of Hillingdon, has been charged today with:
- The murder of Sabrina Moss
- The attempted murder of Sabrina Gachette
- Two counts of attempted murder (A) and (B)
- Two counts of possession of a firearm
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on August 30.
