– City of London Corporation, speaking to City AM
We are considering all options to improve Bank junction given the growing demands on this part of the Square Mile.
The increasing number of workers in the Eastern Cluster, Walbrook and Bloomberg Place means that pedestrian routes, cycle safety and improving traffic flows will be a major focus of any changes adopted.
Plans are being considered to pedestrianise some roads around the Bank of England to cut traffic and make the area more cycle-friendly. City Am reports the plan would also help meet the demands of the City's growing workforce and add more green spaces.
