A man who evaded police capture following a shooting in west Essex has now been charged with the attempted murder of two of his former neighbours.
Francis O'Donoghuewas the subject of a manhunt following the attempted murder oftwo men on a travellers' site in Navestock in August.
The shooting was the culmination of an ongoing neighbour dispute which began outside a shop in Harold Wood in east London earlier in the day. Two men in their 20s sustained gunshot wounds to the legs and chest and underwent surgery.
Following as even-week manhunt, Francis O'Donoghue was arrested in Southgate on Friday 11 October.
The window fitter,who now lives in Wood Green in north London, has been remanded in police custody prior to his appearance at Southend Magistrates Court tomorrow.
