A convicted killer is still on the run from a mental health unit in Hackney after escaping on Wednesday afternoon.
Police have not yet managed to track down 27 year old Lerone Michael Boye who escaped on Wednesday. He was sentenced 28 years in jail last December for the murder of 17-year-old Kelvin Chibueze in Ilford.
If Boye is seen, the Met are advising people not to approach him and call 999 instead.

- He was sentenced to life last December for murder and told he must serve a minimum of 28 years
- He was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms and a grey or blue sweatshirt with a grey vest over the top
Lerone Michael Boye is known to have links to the Ilford area.
Members of the public have been warned not to approach him but call 999.
