Police investigating the shooting and stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Plaistow have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. The man was taken to an East London police station and has been released on bail.

- They stabbed a 15-year-old boy and shot him in the leg
- He was taken to hospital where his condition remains serious

A 15-year-old boy has been shot and stabbed at his home in Plaistow by a gang of masked attackers. Five men forced their way into the property in Grange Road in the early hours of Friday morning. The boy has no gang links and is not believed to be involved in crime.
