Firefighters injured in blaze

Three firefighters were injured during a fire which badly damaged shops and flats on Tottenham High Road last night. Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters brought the blaze under control.

Two firefighters treated for burns, one for back injury

Three firefighters were injured while attending this incident. All three were taken to hospital.

Two were treated for burns and a third was treated for a back injury.

Two of the firefighters have since been discharged from hospital but one of the firefighters who suffered burns remains in hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

None of the injuries are life threatening.
