Because of his development disorder Dean rarely left home alone, except to visit relatives.

Police have launched a murder investigation into the fatal stabbing of a man in Greenford on Friday. The victim has been named as 24 year old Dean Mayley from Northolt. No arrests have been made at this stage. Enquiries into the circumstances of the stabbing on Ruislip road are continuing.

Officers were called out to Ruislip Road in Greenford at around 5:20pm on Friday.
The victim - who is believed to be in his 20s - was taken to hospital, but died later that evening.
Police believe they know who the victim is, but formal identification is yet to take place. Next of kin have been informed.
