A teenager who was stabbed to death in Brixton has been named as Alim Uddin. A post-mortem examination found that the 17-year-old had died of "multiple incised wounds".

A teenager who was stabbed to death in Brixton has been named as Alim Uddin.

Police were called to Tilford House, in Brixton on Sunday evening following reports of a stabbing, and the 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination found that Alim Uddin had died of "multiple incised wounds".

A 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested today in connection with a murder in Brixton.

Following reports of a stabbing, police were called to Tilford House in Holmewood Gardens at 5pm yesterday.

A 17-year-old boy was taken to a south London hospital by London Ambulance Service where he was pronounced dead. He has not yet been named.

The investigation is being led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
