London local election results
Votes have been counted in all 32 London boroughs. Every council seat in every ward has been contested. A total of 1,850 councillors have been elected.

Moped robbers sentenced
A criminal network who committed 46 street robberies in less than two weeks are due to be sentenced today.
The gang operated around south-west London by driving past on a moped to snatch phones from their victims hands.
Many of the victims were also assaulted during the robberies, with some being punched in the face.
Vote counting resumes in Tower Hamlets
Vote counting for the local election in Tower Hamlets is due to resume today after being suspended twice over the weekend.
The result has been delayed after counting for the mayoral election ran over.
It is the last borough in the capital to declare results after voting closed last Thursday.

Barnet result 'down to last ward'
It is going down to the last ward in Barnet which three Liberal Democrats held before the election.
If the Tories can take two seats from the Lib Dems, they will retain a majority but if Labour take two seats the party will widely be expected to make history and control Barnet for the first time, as it is expected to retain its three seats in the postponed Colindale ward vote in June.
Barnet still too close to call
Barnet, a key Labour target, is too close to call after beyond the half way point with Labour taking six seats from the Tories but still trailing behind them with 18 seats to 21.

Labour retain control of Greenwich Council
Labour has retained control of Greenwich Council after passing the winning post of 26 seats, with one gain from the Tories so far, after nine of 17 wards declared.
Labour has retained control of south east London borough council of Southwark.
Labour has recorded victories in 47 of the 63 seats that have so far been declared. There is just one ward, containing three seats, left to declare.
The Liberal Democrats have 11 seats while the Conservatives have two.
Peter John, Labour's current leader of Southwark Council, described it as "a rejection absolutely of the coalition parties in this borough" and of negative campaigning.
Greenwich Council: Labour gain a seat
Labour gained one seat from the Conservatives in Greenwich Council's Blackheath Westcombe ward. After five wards declared, Labour lead 14 seats to one.
London fails to turn purple but Ukip make gains in Essex
While UKIP took seats across the country, but failed to bag seats in the capital. They have had significant wins in Essex, including Thurrock and Southend. Luke Hanrahan reports.
