Pub tweets stabbing not 'great look' for opening night

The Bonneville pub on Lower Clapton Road - which describes itself on twitter as 'Hackney's latest and greatest bar and restaurant' - angered residents after a series of tweets at the weekend.

It tweeted: 'CSIClapton due to events on Lower Clapton Road this evening, we will unfortunately have to close #WelcomeToHackney'.

In response to a tweet from @dreyfuscafe...

The Bonneville replied 'some kid got stabbed over the road and decided to run into ours. Great look for our first week.'
