Hackney pub sparks anger over tweets

A Hackney pub has angered locals with 'insenstive' tweets after a young man who had been stabbed caused the pub to close at the weekend.

Pub tweets stabbing not 'great look' for opening night

The Bonneville pub on Lower Clapton Road - which describes itself on twitter as 'Hackney's latest and greatest bar and restaurant' - angered residents after a series of tweets at the weekend.

It tweeted: 'CSIClapton due to events on Lower Clapton Road this evening, we will unfortunately have to close #WelcomeToHackney'.
