A 26-year-old man who was stabbed to death last night on Eltham Road in Lee has been named as Alex Scott.
Local people have reported that an argument over a "cigarette" led to the murder.

A forensic tent has been put up over the spot where a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Lee last night.
A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death during an argument on Eltham Road in south east London last night.

Officers and London Ambulance Service arrived at the scene in Lee at around 21.46 to find a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to the chest.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inspector Shaun Carre-Brown said: "Early indications suggest that the victim was involved in an argument with two males before being stabbed."
