Tributes have been posted online following the death of an 18-year-old man in Watford. Aqeel Khan was taken to hospital after he was found in the street with suspected stab wounds. He died a short time later.

Local police seek to re-assure residents

This is an isolated incident for Watford, and it is not a common occurrence in the town and I’m sure the community of Watford will have concerns about what happened.

Police appeal for witnesses after man dies in hospital

Two teenagers arrested as dead man's identity confirmed

Two boys have been arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man in Watford yesterday.

The man, who has been formally identified as Aqeel Khan, was found with suspected stab wounds in Croxley View at around 4.20pm. He was taken to Watford General Hospital where he died a short time later.

A 21-year-old man from Watford was arrested in connection with the incident yesterday afternoon and a further two boys, aged 15 and 16 from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of murder during the night. All three are currently in police custody.

Injured man dies in hospital

A man who was found in the street in Croxley View with suspected stab wounds on 22nd August has died.

The 18-year-old was taken to Watford General Hospital where he died a short time later.

A murder investigation has been launched and a 21-year-old man from Watford has been arrested in connection with the incident. He is currently in police custody.
