Mother's Appeal

The mother of murdered schoolboy Adam Regis has made a heartfelt appeal for help in tracing his killers on the fifth anniversary of his death.

Kristina Ceasar said five years feels long to anyone but as the mother of Adam, not seeing his killers brought to justice, it was very hard.

Kristina spoke as it was revealed Adam's former school has built a special garden in his memory for all pupils to use. Adam died aged just 15 - he would have celebrated his 21st birthday in July this year.

Detectives investigating the case are still appealing for information and hope allegiances may have changed over the years and someone now feels able to come forward and help with the inquiry.

Adam, nephew of international athlete John Regis, was stabbed to death in Plaistow on 17 March 2007 after a night out with friends at the cinema.
