Police are appealing for a witness to contact them over a serious nightclub assault that left a woman blind in one eye.
During the assault by four women in the Amika Nightclub in Kensington, the 27-year-old victim from Westminster was hurt so badly she was left blinded.
It happened eight months ago, in the early hours of Sunday, 14 August 2011. The victim had gone to the nightclub to meet her boyfriend. Just before going to the club she met a woman at a cash point machine in Kensington High Street. It's this woman that police now want to trace.
Detective Constable Leanne Alleyne, from Notting Hill CID, said:
"She was near the victim in the club when she was assaulted and we urgently need to speak to her to help us with our enquiries. It is possible her name maybe Terri or Toni but that is still unclear."
