Religious leaders and war veterans will also join them at the Cenotaph for a wreath-laying ceremony.
The service commemorates British and Commonwealth servicemen and women killed in world wars and other conflicts.
David Cameron has started a special fundraising effort by the Royal Marines ahead of Remembrance Sunday. The Marines are attempting to break a world record for the fastest speed march. A team will head west and attempt to run a 26.5 mile course in under 4 hours and 19 minutes.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance today.
The annual festival held at the Royal Albert Hall commemorates and honours all those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
