Cycle technologies tested in Bracknell

New technologies that could improve cycle safety in the capital are being tested in Bracknell.

The Transport Research Laboratory are putting Dutch style roundabouts and low level traffic signal through their paces to see if they would be suitable for London.

Trials could take place in 2014 if approved by the government.

Man remanded in custody over Bracknell murder

The boyfriend of a Thai woman found dead in an underpass in Bracknell has appeared in court charged with her murder.

The body of 43 year old Tuanjai Sprengel was discovered on Sunday morning by two gardeners.

She had been beaten over head.

Muhammed Shafi was today remanded in custody after appearing at Slough Magistrates' Court.

Police question man over murder in Bracknell

Police are continuing to question a 28 year-old man after a woman's body was found in an underpass in Bracknell.

A witness said the 43 year-old victim was lying in a pool of blood with a glass bottle next to her.

Thames Valley Police have urged any potential witnesses who were near the scene in Bay Drive in the early hours of yesterday morning to get in touch with them.

Man questioned over body found in underpass

A 28-year-old man is being questioned by police after a murdered woman's body was found in a pool of blood in an underpass in Bracknell.

The 43-year-old local woman was discovered by a member of the public early yesterday morning and confirmed dead by paramedics at the scene in Bay Drive, in the Bullbrook area of Bracknell.

Thames Valley Police say the man in custody is also from the town.
