The week ahead looks bright, but from Tuesday it's turning much colder.
Low pressure will make its presence known this week...
Today we will see the last of any wet weather for a while as next week sees high pressure building across the UK. Tonight under clear skies temperatuers will tumble with the risk of an air frost across many areas of the Southeast.
Tomorrow will dawn crisp and cold with some bright sunshine. Even though the cloud may build during the day, everywhere will remain dry and bright. Temperatures should peak slightly higher than the weekend, at around 12 to 14C.
The rest of the week remains dry with variable amounts of cloud. Tuesday could be a little dull in places but brighter skies are expected for Wednesday and it will feel warm with temperatures reaching 16C by mid afternoon. The end of the week will be breezier but still dry with some bright spells.
