The Clipper Round The World Race
A team participating in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race assembled at St katherine docks ahead of the 11 month long voyage.
The Race is the the only event of its type. Anyone, even if they have never stepped on a boat before, can join the adventure and circumnavigate the globe.
Today the crew attended a briefing where many of the members got their first look at one of the new 70 foot boats they will use in this year's race.
They will also had their official photographs taken and received their race jackets.
