Woman critical after Golders Green bus collision.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward after a woman was left in a critical condition following a collision with a bus near Golders Green underground station.

The woman, aged in her twenties, was trapped beneath the bus on Finchley Road, NW11 just before midnight on Friday 15th May.

She was taken to a central London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the bus has been spoken to by officers and is assisting them with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.

This is a serious collision that happened on a busy road, near a well used station. There would have been a lot of people passing by. It is very important we find out exactly how this incident occurred. I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision to contact us as soon as possible.

Appeal after police officer injured

Police in Barking and Dagenham have released a photo of a man they'd like to speak to in connection with a traffic collision in which a police officer was injured.

Yesterday evening at around 5pm a black Ford Mondeo was in a collision with an unmarked police car in Bradwell Avenue in Dagenham.

The officer was taken to hospital, treated for his injuries and later discharged.

Police want to speak to 19-year old Leon Tyrell who's approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall, of stocky build and has a tattoo on his forearm.

Upminster traffic collision

Police are appealing for information following a serious traffic collision in Upminster.

Officers were called to the eastbound slip road off the A127 in the early hours of this morning following reports of a collision involving a black Renault Clio and a lamppost.

The 18-year-old male driver was taken to an east London hospital with serious head and chest injuries. His condition has been described as critical.The driver of another car that had stopped at the scene was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and then bailed, pending further investigation.

A schoolgirl who died after a collision with a lorry in south London has been named.

11-year old Hane Haji from Streatham died Tuesday night.

Police say the lorry driver stopped at the scene, but hasn't been arrested.

They're appealing for witnesses.

11-year-old girl dies after lorry collision

An 11-year-old girl has died following a road traffic accident in Streatham.

Officers were called at 3.20pm yesterday,following reports of a collision involving a child and a lorry in StreathamPlace.

London Ambulance Service also attended and the girl, from the area, was taken to hospital suffering from severe head injuries. She died at hospital last night.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
