Appeal for information after burglary

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a burglary took place in Goffs Oak.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 19th between 4pm and 12am on Lulworth Avenue.

The offender(s) gained entry to the property by breaking two back doors and have then stolen items including jewellery, money, and a purse.

The offender(s) then made off in an unknown direction.

Some of items stolen are pictured.

A man is due to appear in court today charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs after police discovered an enormous stash of cocaine.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Central Task Force arrested a man after almost 30kg of the drug was discovered behind a false wall in a lock-up building in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday.

Charles Court, 26, a locksmith of Friern Close, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, is due to appear at Enfield Magistrates Court.

False wall hides huge cocaine stash

Police discovered an enormous stash of cocaine in three safes hidden behind a false wall in a lock-up building.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police's central task force stopped a 26-year-old man in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire, yesterday afternoon, after he left the building in St James's Road.

They found he had a kilogram of cocaine on him, and the man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
