Residents and business owners are this morning counting the cost of yesterday's flooding. Around 36 properties were left under water when a mains pipe burst at around 5am in the morning. Loss adjusters are there today, surveying the damage.
Residents in Herne Hill woke up this morning to find their homes flooded because of a burst water pipe.

We are asking people to stay in their houses because the electricity underground has not yet been isolated in the street outside.About 30 to 50 houses are affected and they are all thought to have basements which may be flooded.
