A worrying 70 per cent of men know nothing about the disease or its symptoms.


Man charged over 1995 murder case

A 57-year-old man from South Woodford has been charged with the murder of a woman who went missing 17 years ago.

Jane Harrison, a 32-year-old single mother from Highbury, disappeared on 15 June 1995. She was last seen that afternoon in the Wood Green Shopping City.

Her body has never been found, but police launched a murder investigation in August 2010.

Green Lanes fire

A fire at a builder's warehouse in Green Lanes caused long tailbacks in Highbury today.

The blaze broke out at around 9.30 this morning at a welding shop. Firefighters have spent the day bringing it under control.

A number of houses had to be evacuated because of fears of a gas explosion. Residents have now returned to their homes. Traffic is still being diverted between Albion Road and Aden Grove. Expect long delays.
