Bale inspires Spurs to victory over Lyon
Tottenham beat Lyon at White Hart Lane in the first leg of their Europa League tie tonight. Gareth Bale put Spurs ahead with a free-kick but the French side equalised with a stunning long-range shot from Samuel Umtiti. However, another Bale free-kick in injury time gave them a 2-1 victory.
