London's army of Gamesmakers were crucial to the success, and the magic, of the 2012 Olympics.

Now there's a call to arms for 6,000 more volunteers - to help make next year's Rugby World Cup a real world-class event.

David Wood has been to the Grasshoppers Rugby Club in Osterley to see how recruitment's going, and to meet one of the committee's more famous ambassadors.

Inspiring a new generation of rugby players

Rugby Football Union CEO Ian Ritchie says the 2015 rugby World Cup is a chance to grow the game in this country.

Rugby World Cup to open at Twickenham

The 2015 Rugby World Cup will open at Twickenham Credit: ITN

The Tournament will open at Twickenham Stadium on Friday September 18, 2015, where England will face Oceania 1, confirmed at the close of the Qualification process in 2014.

As well as a selection of Pool games, Twickenham Stadium will also host two quarter-Finals, the semi-finals and the final on October 31.
